The interior of the cup is covered with golden oil spot patterns, outlined with black dots. The spots are smooth, rounded, and full, resembling overlapping fish scales. These patterns spread evenly from the center outward, with a well-balanced density. Made from raw minerals sourced from Houjing and fired in an electric kiln with precise temperature control, the atmosphere is extremely challenging to manage. Currently, fewer than three artisans in the industry can produce this glaze. The crystals are clear and three-dimensional, with a glossy, rich glaze that evokes the rustic elegance of Song Dynasty originals. The thick iron clay body offers both practicality and collectible value.
